. Reporting to the Finance Manager who is based in London the successful candidate will be responsible for the accounting activities of our operations in France and Spain. The candidate will be familiar with Xero & Pennylane. The ability to speak Spanish would also be a benefit.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities include managing accounting systems, overseeing accounts receivable and payable, handling salary payments and taxation, managing declarations to tax and social authorities in France and Spain, overseeing bank accounts, updating management accounts, and supporting the Finance Manager.

o Managing accounting and payments related to payroll, supported by our payroll service provider, for France and Spain

o Salary and Taxation payments for the above

- Declarations to tax and social authorities in France and Spain

o Managing French and Spanish tax authorities for all tax requirements

o Other statutory submissions to Government authorities

Part-qualified, bilingual in English and French (Spanish beneficial), knowledge of accounting policies, VAT, payroll, banking procedures, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. The position is part-time.
