My client a 'Tier 1 International Law firm' is seeking an Employment Lawyer to join their rapidly growing team.

Duties include:

  • A full range of domestic and international employment issues. They work with a broad range of blue chip and global clients across a range of sectors, including financial services, TMT, IT, healthcare, transport, etc.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on current and potential developments in the law, to ensure that risks are managed, and that effective systems and processes continue to be developed.
  • Solid matter management is a must, as is ambition, self-motivation and both the desire and the ability to deliver high-quality work and act on your own initiative.

Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with clients

Has a good understanding of client, the sector and the associated risks and opportunities.

Actively works to develop and strengthen new client relationships

Team Work and Interpersonal Skills:-

Acts as a source of advice to others, sharing knowledge and expertise

Has strong relationships and profile amongst senior colleagues

Ability to work effectively with others

Candidate Profile:-

Experience gained within a top tier firm. It is essential that the candidate has a strong academic background (minimum 2.1 degree) with excellent written communication and drafting skills. The successful candidate will also have outstanding technical skills, together with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and work well in a team. The ideal candidate will have between two to six years post qualification experience (or equivalent experience).
