Fixed Income - Junior Credit Analyst
£35,000 + Bonus + Benefits

They are highly regarded within the industry, having won many awards and have an excellent brand and client loyalty as well as strong plans to expand their client base. They have an opportunity to join their excellent fixed income research team due to promotion and business growth.

THE ROLE
Working within a small team you will analyse company reports and produce high quality credit research for internal use. In addition, you will provide support to a variety of stakeholders and investment professionals within the business. The role includes the following:

  • Producing high quality credit research for internal use
  • Analysing company reports for internal use with a primary focus on providing research for the centrally recommended and covered lists
  • Providing efficient and effective support to the Credit Analyst, FI Research Analyst and Investment Professionals within RIM and RUTM
  • Attending investment committee meetings and present research at the weekly company meeting
  • Provide input into Broker reviews for the Banking Committee
  • Working closely with the Fixed Income team in order to deliver high quality coordinated information
  • Providing input and output support for the Fixed Income committee
  • Maintaining our credit monitor on Fact Set
  • From time to time provide support for RUTM credits
  • Over time learning to build proprietary models for credit analysis using automatic retracement

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
To be considered for this role you should meet the following criteria:

  • BA, BSC, Masters or equivalent
  • Strong IT skills including proficiency with good Excel skills and experience within credit markets, balance sheets, income statements and cashflow statements
  • Team player, good communication skills, hard-working, diligent A motivated self-starter that is organised and proactive
  • Results and detail oriented
  • Previous experience or internship in a similar role highly desirable
