Fund Accounting Manager

Central London - Hybrid working - 4 days in the office

Salary £70,000 - £90,000 + Bonus + Benefits

The company is a fast-growing financial services company who offer excellent career progression. They have built a global presence of over 700 employees within the investment industry and offer solutions to a wide range of institutions. They now have an opportunity to join them as a manager of a team of professionally qualified fund accountants and engaging with a wide number of funds.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• A strong Understanding of UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS • Understanding of accounting challenges faced within Real Estate/Private Equity

• Ability to write reports and performance measurement at an asset and fund level. • Be confident in presenting information and respond to questions from other areas of the business. • Be able to think on your feet and solve practical problems.

• You must be a Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with a minimum of 3-4 years PQE. • Have a number of years in financial services either gained from a firm of accountants or a company connected with funds.

• Real Estate/Private Equity experience.

THE ROLE

You will manage a Fund Accounting team for Real Estate funds and be working with different parts of the business from the CFO along with other business departments. You will get exposure to a wide variety of funds and tracking their financial performance. The right candidate will be able to offer and provide technical and operational solutions for business efficiency.

• Managing different levels of Fund Accountants within a team including managing workflow • Ensuring delivery of high quality output of the team

• Reviewing Financial Statements and Cash Flows

• Tracking Financial Performance

• Negotiation of terms, due diligence and monitoring compliance in line with company procedures

• Input into policies, controls and procedures

• Preparation of asset level management reporting

• Support the business with Ad hoc projects
