Manager, Private Banking - (9 months FTC)

The Client:

UK-based private banking arm of a prestigious global firm. Their activities encompass banking and credit, financial planning, investment management, offshore trust and company formation and management.

The Role:

  • Inputting of payments, deposits, loans, FX deals and transfers on Globus
  • Inputting of securities transactions into Mercury system
  • Opening of new accounts: ensure the client file is complete and all forms and due diligence are properly completed and prepare the client approval form
  • Assist with preparation of new credit applications and review of the existing credit
  • Assist with preparation of the annual investment reviews
  • Assist with preparation of client information packs (CIPs), account opening forms and credit applications and to provide factual correct and complete input
  • Assist with preparation of periodic client reviews such as PEP, high- and standard risk clients, credit and investment reviews
  • Assist with preparation of their client meetings including booking of meeting rooms and venues, the preparation of forms, valuations and documents
  • Provide coverage for other assistants during their absence
  • Deal with and follow up on client correspondence such as letters, facsimiles, emails and with client telephone calls and to keep the CRO informed about all client interactions and steps taken
  • Maintain clear, comprehensive and up-to-date client, business and transaction records on own interactions with clients at all times
  • Execute client payment instructions according to the Payment Services Directive (PSD) and in accordance with internal procedures including proper client identification, call backs and record keeping
  • Arrange securities transactions, FX deals, term deposits and cash collections and deposits in compliance with the Bank's relevant guidelines and procedures

The Successful Candidate will have:

  • Proven knowledge / experience of Banking products and services
  • Able to work under pressure to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Good IT skills, with particular knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Complete discretion concerning clients and Bank activities
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work well within a
  • Strong Academic Background
  • Private Banking experience
