MiFID 2 PMO

£550 - £700 per day

The Client

An established and growing Financial Services Business looking to augment their MiFID 2 team. My clients EMEA Headquarters are based in London and have a number of brands operating under the one umbrella.

The Role

- Assist Business Analysts and Project Manager with status updates

- Communication of the MiFID 2 Program in understandable format to non-stakeholders

- Preparation for and minute taking of Steering Committee and Working Groups

- Setting out the framework across the MiFID 2 Program planning purposes

- Establishing full dependency management framework for the programme including dependencies between primary 3rd party and internal firm projects

- Working closely with program manager to identify peaks of work across the projects and proposing solutions to project and BAU/SME resource contentions

Key Skills and Attributes

- Keen eye for detail

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Track record of application in complex and technical program delivery frameworks

- Good understanding/appreciation of design/architecture, build and testing frameworks

- Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite

- Prince 2 or MSP would be an advantage

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Prior experience of working in financial services is a pre-requisite

- Good understanding of different estimation techniques and can challenge/validate appropriately
