Operations and Client Reporting Associate

Salary £30,000 - £33,000 + Bonus and Benefits

Established in 2001, They manage assets exceeding $50 billion, the firm specializes in craftingpersonalized investment portfolios for clients, leveraging an extensive network of partnerships with outstanding asset managers across major asset classes. With a workforce of over 350 individuals, the client operates across seven offices situated in Boston, New York, London, San Francisco, Paris, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and entering client trade confirm details.

  • Actively overseeing the settlement of trades.

  • Collaborating with custodians, brokers, and third-party service providers to address discrepancies# Conducting daily reconciliations of cash, positions, and transactions for client portfolios.

  • Generating monthly and quarterly performance statements for clients.

  • Verifying and reviewing annual client tax reports for accuracy and completeness of underlying data Scrutinizing client invoice calculations to ensure alignment with fee agreements and addressing internal queries.

  • Validating all fees collected within client portfolios to accurately reflect in annual fee reporting.

  • Thoroughly checking client reporting outputs for accuracy before submission to client relationship managers for further review.

  • Investigating errors or issues in reporting identified by automated system checks or other reviewers Contributing to the implementation of strategic projects for efficient execution and reporting processes.

  • Proactively examining current Trade Operations and Reporting processes for areas of improvement and suggesting system enhancements.

  • Participation in projects led by the dedicated Transformation Office.

  • Cultivating strong relationships with internal teams to gain a better understanding of key processes throughout the company.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • Strong numerical aptitude; preference for Math A-Level, though not mandatory.

  • Previous work or internship experience, preferably in investment operations, but not a prerequisite Exceptional attention to detail and ease in working with numbers.

  • Capacity to prioritize daily tasks, ensuring efficiency and accuracy under pressure.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced investment setting.
