EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA with 2+ years PQE

  • Experience within a Private Equity firm (Preferred but not essential)

  • A good knowledge of accounting and reporting

  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word

THE ROLE

This role will suit a proactive ambitious, and go getting accountant. You will get excellent exposure to the whole finance team including the CFO and will be crucial to the success of the team. You will be responsible for the statutory financial and management reporting for the corporate entities and will work under the financial controller. You will be pivotal to the improvement of systems and financial processes.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations

  • Processing monthly and quarterly journals

  • Review of financial statements for the corporate entities (prepared by an external provider)

  • Preparing monthly management accounts and monthly analysis for review by the financial controller and the CFO

  • Liaise with auditors for the annual audit process for both GP fund entities and corporate entities

  • Support and be involved with the implementation of processes, system and control improvements

  • Prepare and submit the quarterly VAT returns and annual adjustment calculations

  • Prepare and submit the PSA calculation

  • Assist with Fatca CRS reporting

  • Review bi-weekly payment runs

  • Preparation of payroll and pension P11D reporting

  • Assist with FCA regulatory filings
