Trainee Fund Administrator

Location - Jersey

Salary - £25,000 - £30,000 + Benefits

Skills & Experience

  • Possess relevant academic qualifications, including GCSE.
  • You must possess a keen desire to learn and develop as this client will offer training throughout your employment.
  • Have some relevant experience in an administrative/company secretarial environment.
  • Demonstrate IT literacy and experience with all MS applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work individually and in a team.

The role:

  • Manage weekly board meetings, including scheduling, document distribution, quorum checking, and record-keeping.
  • Track the implementation of board decisions made at board meetings or committees.
  • Maintain investor data, including contact information, bank account details, and addresses, following agreed procedures.
  • Prepare and distribute investor-related transaction documents and reports.
  • Maintain statutory records, ensuring timely filing with relevant authorities.
  • Prepare annual statutory filings and tax returns.
  • Handle system inputting and coordination tasks,
  • Understand reporting and corporate governance requirements, supporting others in meeting administrative and company secretary obligations within regulatory and legal frameworks.
  • Assist colleagues in the Corporate Governance team with specific work allocations.
  • Collaborate effectively with individuals and teams across my clients' groups.
  • Ensure continuous professional development (CPD) by updating own skills and knowledge on an ongoing basis.
