The Company
They are a well-known globally branded investment management group who have an excellent reputation for innovative products, fund and money management across a broad range of asset classes offering their services to institutional, retail and high net-worth clients. They manage over £80 billion across different continents within their international network of offices

The Role
Reporting directly to one of the Senior Accountants, you will responsible for:

-Gross Management and Performance fee accruals for certain products and clients as well as Involvement in quarterly performance fee bonus run.
-Review and preparation of fee billing for certain products and clients including the monthly true-up process for invoicing vs accruals
-Statutory and regulatory reporting for allocated trading entities
-
AUM & Flow Reporting including analysis
-Rvenue accruals accounting, analysis, commentary and budget process
Institutional Fees Billing. This includes:
-Develop good working relationship with the Institutional Client Account Managers (CAMs) and ensure SLA between CAM's and Finance is adhered to
-Ensure measures are in place to capture any new fee models or agreements so they can be integrated into the billing process
-Generate models for complex fee structures as they arise and communicate any issues proposed schemes create
Legal Entities
-Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed each month for certain legal entities
-Ensure all regulatory returns are completed and filed on time for legal entities
-Produce statutory accounts at year end for legal entities
-Responsible for audit and sign-off on legal entities allocated.
Regulatory Returns including
-Involvement in ensuring appropriate entities maintain the appropriate capital throughout the year as well as involvement in agreeing the payment of dividends from appropriate entities.

Who are they are looking for
To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria

  • A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Investment Management industry experience
  • Knowledge of investment products and associated fee structures
  • Strong accounting and analytical skills
