EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • A minimum of 6 months relevant experience within financial services specifically within sales and business development. Essential
  • A graduate with strong academic record, excellent writing skills and ability to communicate complex ideas;
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adjust to changing deadlines;
  • Ability to use initiative and work independently, taking ownership;
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • A team player with drive, energy, and ambition to achieve results in a dynamic, fast paced, and demanding environment;
  • Ability & willingness to travel outside of the United Kingdom for business;
  • Networking capabilities, both electronically and face to face;

THE ROLE
As a business development analyst you will be a member of the company's central sales and business development team and will assist with a variety of campaigns and new business origination activities across the company's service lines. Responsibilities include:

Managing the sales funnel

  • Setting up and attending meetings;
  • Preparation of proposals, RFPs, sales materials etc. in a timely manner;
  • Being the point of contact for prospective clients and coordinating different teams inputs;
  • Managing the business development pipeline and progressing prospects through the funnel until they become customers;
  • Recording notes in client meetings and storing these in the CRM;
  • Ensuring the CRM system is up to date;
  • Assist in closing sales and generating win/loss reports;

Assist in lead generation:

  • Following up on marketing activities (e.g., mailshots, email etc.);
  • Generating target lists and assisting in cold emails/calls;
  • Research and prepare prospective client profiles;
  • Following up on inbound enquiries to the business, set up processes to efficiently handle these and escalate to the relevant service line;
  • Ability to manage follow-up calls and system demos if required;
  • Organise, staff, and participate in marketing events in EMEA;
  • Representing the Company at events.
