Our client is a global asset management firm with strong reputation and recognised as a market leader within the mutual fund industry.

THE ROLE
Reporting and supporting the Head of UK Distribution, the role has three key areas:

  • Lead and manage a team of Relationship Management Associates to deliver excellent customer service to both our key customer groups and to the UK sales team
  • To provide effective assistance and support to the Regional Sales team in order to develop lasting profitable relationships with regional advisors, wealth mangers and distribution partners. This will include the provision of timely and compelling marketing literature, resolving product and pricing queries and ensuring that excellent customer service is delivered to our key customers
  • Develop a defined panel of regional financial advisers to open new profitable distribution of investment products and to create quality opportunities for the Regional Sales team

Specifically the role includes the following:

  • Lead, manage and coach the Relationship Management Associate team;
  • Ensure that all work is co-ordinated and meets deadlines and expectations;
  • Ensure that the team provide excellent customer service to our key customer groups;
  • Be a role model in making proactive calls to advisory firms;
  • Support Regional Directors/ Associate Directors in organising, conducting and following up on client meetings and client facing events;
  • Develop a panel of regional advisers to open new distribution of the company's Investment products and to provide face to face opportunities for the Associate/Regional Directors;
  • Fielding ad hoc requests from advisers and coordinating with other associates inside and outside the UK team to respond to these requests;
  • Supporting the rest of the UK team to produce ad-hoc reports or illustrative data to respond to client queries and support sales efforts;
  • Ensure that the team works compliantly and within the agreed regulatory framework.

WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Graduate with line management/supervisory experience
  • Lead, manage, coach and motivate a team of Relationship Management Associates. This will include setting goals and objectives that meet the business needs and performance;
  • Proven office experience in a sales environment within Asset Management/Finance;
  • The able to generate new asset flows and leads from advisers through the use of proactive out-bound call activity and marketing activity;
  • A good level of understanding of financial advisers and distribution partners in the UK and their requirements related to training, products, sales aids, reporting, marketing collateral, events and fund operations;
  • Strong ability to work across an organisation, building effective working relationships with colleagues;
  • Working knowledge of financial markets, investment concepts, competitors and industry trends;
  • A good communicator both orally and in writing;
  • Demonstrates proactivity, drive, integrity and entrepreneurial mindset.
