Asset Manager based in the city have a recruitment for a Clinet Services Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

Client Service Management responsibilities including:

  • Day to day client account management to support the relevant Sales Directors and Head of Client Service in the ongoing management of EMEA clients
  • Client Service Operations: acting as a conduit between the department and the key operational functions (e.g. Operations, Fund Accounting and Performance)
  • Client Reporting: sourcing data and commentary as required, generating, reviewing and circulating regular client reports
  • Scheduling, arranging and participating in regular investment review meetings and calls as required
  • Participating in the deployment of Vermillion for EMEA Client Reporting
  • Participating and/or overseeing transition activity (on-boarding and off-boarding) for segregated mandates

Key skills, attributes and characteristics:

  • Practical knowledge of client service operations including
    • experience of middle office and operations
    • data sourcing
    • custodian and fund accounting functions
  • Experience of on-boarding / off-boarding activity, both in terms of project oversight and practical input
  • Practical knowledge of institutional account management
  • Well structured, highly organised and self-starting
  • Highly numerate and able to cope with multiple tasks in a structured, prioritised manner

Experience and qualifications:

  • Circa 3 years in a comparable position
  • Experience of international clients and investment teams would be a benefit

Key relationships:

  • Internal:
    • Middle and back office functions to include operations, performance, compliance and legal functions;
    • Head of EMEA CS, and other Sales Directors
    • Relevant Tokyo-based and Group functions globally
  • External: Europe clients including other group companies
