They are expanding their capabilities and facilities further within their core markets across select land, residential and commercial assets in the UK and Europe. They have a highly experienced team of property and finance professionals and possess a deep understanding of specialist funding requirements and industry complexities.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you should meet the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in the administration and processing of bridging loans to enable support of the sales team
  • Understanding of underwriting and how it works
  • Bridge lending experience
  • Clear communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Able to use Excel under pressure; an ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident, analytic, proactive and organised
  • Motivated with a desire to surpass targets
  • Passionate and energetic
  • Strong time management skills and experience running multiple projects at a time

The role will lead the administration and back office of this small bridge financing team and assist with the deployment of a new debt facility. The successful candidate will be working on a wide range of asset types such as planning contingent land deals, select commercial assets including healthcare and leisure facilities and residential assets including Co-Living, PBSA and PRS. Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Assisting in quantitative and qualitative appraisal of deals to establish viability
  • Oversight of underwriting
  • Assist in conducting financial analysis and recording of data in relation to transactions
  • Researching and providing market research on industry sectors and companies
  • Assisting in loan documentation, drawdowns, logging of deals, administration of data  
  • Responsible for processing of loans
  • Ensuring that the operations runs smoothly
  • Attend briefing meetings and calls when required
  • Confident in building a good rapport with clients
  • Work closely with the wider team to establish and manage an efficient working flow
