THE COMPANY

Our client is a growing fintech innovative, challenger consumer credit company which aims to simplify consumer lending by digital methods. They are looking for a focused, "hands on", "roll your sleeves up" type person who can introduce structure into a fast moving start up and supporting a fast growing portfolio.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • 3-5 years' experience in an analytical role
  • Knowledge of databases including MySQL and AWS desirable
  • Previous experience of Tableau and/or Alteryx preferable, otherwise applicants with a solid analytical background and a desire to learn these analytical packages quickly
  • Unsecured lending experience such as consumer finance or credit cards would be useful
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and manage time effectively
  • Ability to interact and work alongside key stakeholders
  • You are highly analytical, have an inquisitive mind and are able to provide insightful analysis
  • You love rolling up your sleeves to get it done - you are hands-on, proactive and take solutions / process orientated approach to your work

THE ROLE

This is an opportunity to make an impact in a growing fintech start-up who are looking to change the face of the consumer finance industry. You will work in a flat and collaborative team structure with an exciting mix of both experienced people from the industry with extensive know how and tech-savvy innovators. This role is unique in that it will enable you carve your own role whilst helping to shape the future of the company. You will be able to make your ideas heard.

  • Supporting a fast growing portfolio, performing analysis to identify trends as well as having a part to play in the creation of integral Credit Risk Strategies and Models
  • Using Alteryx and Tableau, manipulate and analyse data on a day to day basis, working at the cutting edge of analytical and statistical techniques
  • Providing the business with data-based insight and recommendations for changes and improvements to product range, marketing activity, channel optimisation, strategy design, decision making, pricing and application & operational processes
  • Building models to inform lending decisions
  • Produce credit limit strategies
  • Utilising big data across multiple sources to enhance the relationships with our customers Work closely with colleagues across the Company to deliver a wide range of projects
