Main daily and monthly duties of the role: ·
To reconcile bank and nominal accounts and authorise credits to client accounts within 3 working days of receipt of dividends.
To apply diary notes to be reviewed by management for un-reconciled items older than 3 working days. ·To communicate with company registrars/agents to ensure outstanding payments are correctly received in a timely manner.
To ensure that tax deductions made from underlying clients agree with client static data, where necessary. ·Escalate appropriately when risk is uncovered, in accordance with departments escalation policy ·
To process queries raised by company correspondents in a timely manner.
To obtain a working knowledge of all areas associated with the Dividends Payment Processing Team.
To provide assistance to the team supervisor/manager where required.
To provide assistance to other sections within the department, sector and company where required. ·To build good working relationships with other departments and correspondents.
To take a proactive approach in seeking enhancements to existing systems and procedures.
To utilise the many internal training opportunities and courses which are available for technical and personal development
