The Role

The duties of the role include but aren't limited to:

  • Maintain financial the reporting process, including meeting all financial accounting timelines as stipulated by the Head Office
  • Coordinate the management reporting process, including meeting all timelines, reporting of the forecasts and associated variance analysis, ensuring that forecast have integrity and fully reflects risks
  • Maintain accurate and timely accounting records of the company in accordance with UK statutory reporting requirements
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies / procedures and prevailing accounting standards as well as statutory requirements
  • Coordinate and prepare company budgets and forecasts
  • Manage Invoicing and Settlement procedures, including expenses and claims. Ensuring that efficient recording, reporting, and assessment is carried out
  • Monitor outgoing and incoming movements in funds on a daily basis; analysing & reporting daily, weekly & monthly on cash flow
  • Prepare statements and declarations concerning assets, liabilities and outcomes of business operations
  • Liaising with external consultants on periodic tax, audit and regulatory queries
  • Maintain budgetary management and control through efficient cost management and fund optimization
  • Manage the letter of credit utilization, liaising with banks on related banking matters
  • Oversee the financial risks of the company; including but not limited to funding gaps and sources of funds
  • Conduct monthly management reporting and variance analysis on business performance
  • Carry out month-end closing and reconciliation work

Who they are looking for

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Fluent Mandarin and English
  • Fully qualified in ACCA ACA or CIMA
  • Strong communication skills in Mandarin and English
  • Hands on trade finance experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
