Managing nearly 80 funds and mandates spanning across diverse geographies, sectors, investment styles and vehicle types.They've got offices throughout the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific, over 500 professionals and 70 years of investing experience.

Overview of the Role:

This role will provide exposure to the company's expanding pan-European joint ventures mandates, plus the wind-down of a pan-European retail fund.

The direct reporting line will be to the Head of Finance but close working relationships will be required with all team members in both London and Luxembourg, together with our business partners across Europe.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Ongoing:

  • Provide support to the Head of Finance, Finance Managers, Company Secretary and other team members
  • Interaction with Funds' auditors, local accountants, tax advisors, legal advisors and liquidators
  • Day to day accounting tasks which will include coding invoices, cash management
  • Liaising with trustees and members of the wider real estate team to deliver efficient processes
  • Liaising with all parts of the company as appropriate to ensure that all financial and operational matters are dealt with and managed efficiently
  • Preparation of liquidation accounts and interim Financial Statements
  • Cash repatriation work

Quarterly:

  • Prepare the Quarterly reports for various entities (under Fund/ JV GAAP)
  • Manage the calculation and the booking of intercompany transactions
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations
  • Liaising with external tax advisers
  • Participate in the production of Quarterly investment reports to investors
  • Be responsible for the Tax and VAT compliance for various entities

Annually:

  • Support for preparation of consolidated financial statements (under Fund/ JV GAAP) - interim and year end
  • Assisting in the year end audit process
  • Supervise the preparation and filing of the statutory annual financial statements (under Local GAAP)
  • Assisting in the annual taxation process

Technical Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
