Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts and year-end financial support for all UK and US entities
  • Maintenance and update of Microsoft Dynamics AX accounting system, accounting books and records
  • Assistance with preparation of annual financial statements for all UK and controlling holding entities
  • Preparation of annual budget and quarterly cost reviews at company and group level
  • Preparation of consolidated and unconsolidated FCA reports including ICAAP, CAD returns and Pillar 3 Disclosures
  • Administration and maintenance of the travel expense system
  • Assistance with preparation of lender and rating agencies reporting
  • Preparation fortnightly cash forecasts and related cash management tasks
  • Preparation of weekly finance forecasts and KPI pack
  • Preparation of VAT and HMRC benefits-in-kind taxation
  • Assist with US and UK corporation tax reviews, quarterly estimates
  • Assist with preparation of Board Meeting agendas and schedules
  • Assist with preparation of Corporate Update presentations
  • Cover for other team members as required in accordance with the Finance Task Matrix

Qualifications and experience:


  • Degree Qualified (2:1 as a minimum or the international equivalent of this qualification)
  • 3 A levels (B or better) or equivalent and more than 5 O levels / GCSEs (B or better)
  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • 1-2 years' minimum experience in comparable role
  • Investment management experience


  • Good knowledge of Visio and Powerpoint
  • Good knowledge of Concur travel expense system
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • 2-5 years' experience in comparable role
  • 1 year's management consultancy experience
