They manage over £250 billion across different continents within their international network of offices.

THE ROLE
The role is based within the London finance function of a leading global asset manager and sits within the Business Finance team of 20. This particular team’s objective is to drive resource planning and control and to facilitate effective forward looking business decision making with commercial insight to identify opportunities to create value.

Reporting the Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for supporting the Business Finance teams located in London, USA and Sydney and providing business partnering support for the Corporate functions of finance, human resources, procurement and strategy. The team’s objective is to drive resource planning and control and to facilitate effective forward looking business decision making with commercial insight to identify opportunities to create value.Duties and Responsibilities include

  • Regular reporting

  • Budgeting and forecasting

  • Develop in to an expert SAP BPC user (training to be provided)

  • Own process to load and review forecast and budget information

  • Actively input into driving process efficiency

  • Ad hoc analysis as required to support functional finance business partners.

  • Take ownership for elements of the finance platform such as maintenance of master data.

  • Participate in projects to enhance or improve the use of the finance platform

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
To be considered for this excellent opportunity at this global asset manager you must :

  • Be studying towards ACCA or CIMA

  • 18 months to 2 years experience in a similar role within the financial services sector.

  • You will have strong experience of budgeting, forecasting and analysis

  • Excellent Excel skills and an interest in systems.
