The Company
A prestigious wealth manager based in the City who has an open and collegiate culture. My client has significant AUM, which is expanding at a healthy level. This organisation is operating across multiple jurisdictions and across multiple asset classes.
The Role
- Advising the Executive Committee on Legal matters
- Reporting in to the General Counsel
- Draft legal documentation
- The scope of the position covers Custody, Stock Loan Lending, Clearing and Prime Brokerage
- Liaising with the General Counsel on all Legal matters where required
- Presentation to Executive Committee where required
The Successful candidate will have:
- 2-3 years PQE
- At least a a year's experience with private practice preferably with Magic Circle or White Shoehorn firm
- Fund management or Asset Allocation experience would be advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Suite knowledge
- Comfortable dealing with individuals across levels of seniority
- Strong presentation skills
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
- Strong drafting skills
- Can be from a regulatory or corporate finance background or from capital markets
