The Role.
Reporting to the internal audit management working within a small team, the audit function has a high profile position within the company. Each audit assignment brings different challenges and objectives. The role involves the following:

  • Prepare for audits by meeting senior executives at the head office;
  • Carry out audits and identify and quantify risks to provide value adding recommendations;
  • Accountable for reviewing activities within the organisation, verifying adherence to controls defined, compliance with standards & legislation, and identifying operational efficiencies, thus driving discipline and adding value to the company;
  • Gain understanding of sales, advisory centres, collections, marketing, , finance, HR, regulatory affairs (when auditing a business area); Quality, Environment, Procurement,

To be considered for this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Part qualified auditor or qualified by experience and willing to travel up to 20% in UK and Europe;
  • Previous audit experience of any industry and strong understanding of controls and risk;
  • Strong communication skills in English (written & verbally), influencing and report writing skills are therefore essential;
  • An inquiring and result-focus mind-set and a high level of analytical skills.
