THE COMPANY
They are a young wealth management company with a difference. They are an off shoot of another larger wealth management company who have decided to back key portfolio managers. The team is 9 currently and is expanding fast. Being a small environment this is a key hands on role and gives an opportunity to make your mark and play an influential role in the business from its young beginnings. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • Solid understanding of financial set-up, procedures, statistics and economics
  • Strong numeric skills
  • Proven working experience as an Investment Analyst across multi assets
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Independent working style and good team player
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, investment banking, or accounting.
  • Authorised or previously authorised to speak with clients is preferred

THE ROLE

  • Conducting due diligence on companies and industries by researching, reading financial statements and market data
  • Analysing financial information relating to specific companies, e.g. company results, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements to determine how an organisation is positioned to deliver for investors
  • Keeping up to date with market developments, new investment products and all other areas that can affect the markets, e.g. movements in the economies of relevant countries
  • Considering how the economic implications of factors might affect the performance of companies and funds
  • Monitoring the financial news using specialist media sources
  • Drafting and writing research reports for internal or client use
  • Understanding existing client risk profile and monitoring client portfolios
  • Compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities and funds that could enhance or diversify portfolios
  • Support Relationship Managers to provide excellent service to high net-worth clients
  • Handle customer interactions for any new investment related queries (phone, email, letter)
  • Back-up for the operation analyst to produce valuations and monthly portfolio statements / reports for all clients in an efficient and timely manner
  • Liaising with clients on behalf of the select advisers
  • Assemble all necessary documentation for Client Meetings, not limited to presentations /meeting materials/review documentation and confidential
  • Working in a small team you will also do some general administrative work as part of the general team
  • Ad hoc project work
