A global Real Estate investment management firm are looking to add to their European team with a exceptional part qualified accountant who is looking for a long term career with excellent progression prospects and the chance to have a big name on their CV

The Company

The company is a Pan-European real estate investment management group. They have been experiencing a period of rapid expansion over the past few years and currently have £12 billion under management. Despite this they are looking to grow even further and are seeking experienced, motivated individuals who can help them achieve their goals.

The Role

Your role will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Accounting & monthly reporting for about 10 segregated account clients, in agreement with SLAs
  • Liaison with fund administrators and custodians
  • Performance analysis & measurement of investments, client accounts and fund vehicles
  • Calculate and instruct foreign currency hedging for exposures relating to segregated accounts
  • Contacting underlying fund administrators to obtain up-to-date prices
  • Preparation of ad-hoc financial analysis
  • Updating records & systems to account for AUM, transactions, fees billable, reconciliations etc
  • Compliance with internal controls
  • Adhoc project work
  • Assisting in KYC & preparation for prospective clients

Who they are looking for
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Be a recent graduate with a strong educational background (1st from a top 10 university)
  • 1-2 years relevant experience within an investment based company
  • Part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (ideally in the early stages)
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of accounting
  • Strong communication skills
