The Company
A niche business bank operating across multiple jurisdictions my client is a meritocratic and collegiate organisation based in the Heart of London. The Bank operates under two brands one of which serves business clients while the other focuses on retail customers.
A stable and open bank which will develop it's business organically.
The Role
- Reporting to the Head of ALM UK Finance
- Managing a small team of ALM Professionals
- Lead the development of the key assumptions that underpin the banks stress test models
- Management of the annual Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process
- Develop the Bank's current and future funding strategy
- Implementation of relevant regulatory legislation
- Manage intercompany agreements and other outsourced Third Party arrangements
- Manage both internal and external relationships
- Ownership of the ALM input to the 1LOD Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book
- Assessment and development of the company's liquidity stress processes
The successful candidate will have:
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Significant experience of Asset and Liability Management
- Demonstrable understanding of the principles of FTP and Stress Testing, Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent written and oral English
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Results driven
- Embrace change and self motivated
- Degree education preferred
