Product Communications and Insight Manager


Manage production of regulatory-required and firm defined product marketing material to
support the mutual fund range. This includes factsheets (pdf and html), KIIDs, Report &
Accounts, application forms, fund performance and allocation presentation, SA MDDs and SA
performance summary.

Manage monthly fund data dissemination to provide an accurate fund data source and timely
provision of data feeds to the Firm's website, agreed third party publishers and stakeholders
such as BJSS.


Manage production of marketing material and data provision for model portfolios. This
includes factsheets, performance and allocation information and data dissemination to FE.

Ensure accurate and timely information is available, on and offline, to existing and prospective
clients for them to be able to understand each of our products and their current delivery of
objectives.

Manage translation services for local language requirements for marketing documents.

Ensure that marketing material is in line with regulatory requirements, the Firm's requirement
with emphasis on the areas of product suitability and TCF.
Market, product and competitor analysis

Manage product testing activity as required by the business to ensure products meet the
needs of the targeted audience and are understood by the audience. Provide insight and
recommendations to Marketing, Product Solutions, and Distribution to drive the development
of improved marketing materials and product positioning.

Provide competitor and fund analysis, aggregating data from multiple sources such as FE
Analytics, Morningstar, and Financial Clarity, to deliver relevant information and insight to
stakeholders.

Provide a regular digest of market intelligence to key stakeholders to inform product and
marketing strategy.

Co-ordinate completion of product reviews with COO Client Affairs for consideration by
Product Strategy Group.

Complete ad hoc project based work investigating product or market opportunities as
required.
Product development and regulatory change

Manage implementation of product development initiatives as determined by the Product
Solutions team, Product Strategy Group or as a result of regulatory change.

Work collaboratively across the business, in particular with distribution channels, to assist in
the development of the firm's broader strategic product plans

Project management of new product marketing initiatives. Take an active role in regulatory
change projects, undertaking research and driving forward project actions.

Lead by example in treating customers fairly, by demonstrating with words and actions that
the client perspective is always considered in decision making. Provide the necessary input
into TCF management reporting.
Supplier management

Own relationship with key vendors and datahouses. Manage day to day relationships and hold
regular supplier review meetings.
Required Job Skills

Track record in product marketing or management in asset management

Product knowledge - must demonstrate excellent understanding of complex
asset management products and be able to simply articulate those to
institutional, wholesale

The role holder will have an excellent grasp of regulatory requirements around
product communications.

The successful individual will have detailed knowledge of the UK and offshore
funds market places and UCITs.

Experience of fund data management with a high level of attention to detail, and
a resolve to present fully-accurate data and information.

Experience of using Morningstar, FE Analytics or similar for research, competitor
and fund analysis

Excellent communication skills at all levels

Effective interdepartmental team player

Good organisational and planning skills - can manage the coordination of
multiple activities across different functions

They will have a demonstrable track record of effective project / change
management.

Ideally educated to graduate level, with a background in product management,
development and communications.
