Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide excellent business finance support to Operations and Corporate functions:
- Prioritise activities to ensure business finance deliverables are met to a high standard
- Communicate efficiently with senior management up to ExCo level
- Trouble shoot issues and work to resolution
- Support the Operations and Corporate teams with:
- Regular reporting:
- Expense reporting
- Transaction analysis and investigation
- Project and initiative process and reporting
- Provide finance support to business led projects
- Budgeting and forecasting:
- Own process to load and review forecast and budget information
- Actively input into driving process efficiency
- Ad hoc analysis:
- As required to support business partners.
- Finance Platform:
- Participate in projects to enhance or improve the use of the finance platform
- Regular reporting:
Key Team Deliverables
- Ensure budgets and forecasts agreed by the Executive Committee are managed appropriately, flagging risks where necessary
- Enable functional heads to manage the resources of their global teams
- Provide independent advice and support to the business as well as challenging where appropriate
- Production and tracking of accurate and efficient budgets and forecasts
- Ensure the FP&A team has appropriate commentary and support to report monthly results and changes in forecasts to the Executive Committee
- Ensure business functions have sufficient finance representation and support for projects, initiatives and supplier or client commercial arrangements
- Preparation of ad-hoc analysis as required by management

Technical Skills and Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Significant previous experience working in an FP&A or business finance role.
- Experience of working in investment management essential.
- Understanding of the Operations function highly desirable
- Ability to analyse data and provide relevant financial insight
- Excellent excel skills
