MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES :
Perform financial and operational audits for our audit department.
Areas where audit work is performed include the UK, Ireland, Northern and Eastern Continental Europe, Africa. On a "special project" basis, the position also provides opportunities to work on assignments in the US, Southern Continental Europe and Australasia.
Liaise directly with senior management to address/resolve business issues arising from audit work.
Prepare written audit reports summarising results of audit work. Reports distributed to a senior affiliate and management.
Participate in various business studies and other projects.
KEY ELEMENTS OF THE JOB:
Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least three years of total work experience (two years in auditing will be considered minimum requirement).
Strong financial and accounting background.
Willingness to travel on 50% to 60% basis.
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Foreign language proficiency will be considered a plus.
Team playing capabilities are necessary.
