Assist the Global Head of Internal Audit in developing a yearly internal audit plan

Perform internal audits including: planning; audit fieldwork; and drafting of the audit reports

 Identify, analyse and document risks and controls within business processes;

 Identify and document control and process gaps/weaknesses and propose practical and value added recommendations to address control inefficiencies

 Participate in closing meetings and provide clear explanations of the risk exposures for identified audit issues

 Assist in the preparation of a concise and informative audit report to effectively communicate the findings and recommendations to relevant heads of department and senior management

 Participate in governance related tasks such as the production of reporting packs for boards and committees, including the Audit Committee;Assist management in maintaining awareness and management of key operational risks in the business as a whole

 Undertake assignments at the direction of the head of internal audit

The ideal candidate will have

 A Degree (BSc, BA or MBA)

 A recognised professional qualification in Accounting or Internal Auditing

 Significant experience in Internal Audit gained from working in the asset management industry in Luxembourg and London

 Good communication skills, both written and spoken.

 A Solid understanding of risk and control concepts. Ability to apply these concepts to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of business processes and controls to mitigate risk to tolerance levels defined by management

 Working knowledge of professional IIA performance standards with regarding to execution of internal audit reviews

 Well-developed technical skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio

 Fluent in English and ideally in French
