TRADE FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR

£20-32k + Bonus + Benefits

COMPANY:

EXPERIENCED REQUIRED:

  • Degree plus 1 years relevant experience
  • A completed Degree or similar
  • Experience required: SWIFT, Letters of Guarantees processing, Documentary Credits
  • Strong back office administration experience
  • Understanding of UCP 600, ISBP for Examination of Documents Under Documentary Credit & URR 525
  • Solid understanding of Trade operations including Pay/Receive operations, collections and Funds transfers.
  • Compliance experience
  • Would suit energetic, quick thinker, with an interest in Trade Finance

DUTIES: Include

  • Maintain register for all documents
  • Ensure up of electronic docs
  • Document checking ,in accordance with current UCP rules
  • Highlighting discrepancies
  • Process Acceptance, Negotiation or Payment on L/C upon on approved documents
  • Beneficiary Settlements
  • Resolve queries
  • Process Guarantee requests from other banks and clients
  • Ensure transactions are within any facility limits/cash cover arrangements prior to issuance
  • Ensure Tariffs are correct
  • Cancellation of expired guarantees
  • Check terms of claims received
  • Process settlements of valid claims
