Leading Wealth Manager based in the West End are looking for a Trade Support Analyst to join a small team. They are looking for someone who is bright and keen to learn and who wants to take the role to another level.

Principal Elements and Accountabilities

  • To assist the trade support team with matching & settlement instructions across our Multi-Asset fund range. Securities include, but are not limited to, equity, ETF, fixed income, funds & collectives, and foreign exchange
  • Ensure accurate and timely trade affirmation. Work with brokers and custodians in order to ensure timely resolution of breaks
  • Assist with trade implementation in order management system for any model change processes on discretionary and advisory accounts, and also where record keeping is required when on a 3rdparty account
  • Investigating and resolving any failed trades, non-receipts and interest claims
  • Act as a first point of contact for trade related enquiries from internal stakeholders, including Fund Managers, Dealers and Client Relationship Managers
  • Ensure all portfolio cash requirements and overdrafts are covered in a timely manner
  • Monitoring trade blotter
  • Production and communication of trade files to custodians and third party administrators/ACDs
  • Creating the required report for uploading to the FCA regarding Transactions that must be reported on a daily basis
  • Liaise with custodians to resolve issues on client accounts as they arise
  • Ensuring accurate and timely broker set up on all relevant internal and external systems
  • Ensure Omgeo CTM and ALERT databases are kept up to date

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 18 month's experience in a Middle Office, Trade Support or Trade Assistant role
  • Knowledge of Omgeo CTM and ALERT is imperative
  • Experience of SS&C Advent would be an advantage but familiarity with other Order Management Systems is essential
  • IMC, IOC/IAQ or equivalent professional qualification advantageous, although not a prerequisite
