My client, a leading global advisory company, is currently seeking recent graduates to join their expanding team.

As a transition analyst you'll be required to display excellent project management skills, and due to the high levels of my client, be able to cope with and work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. You'll have the ability to project manage several different parties, including (but not exclusive to):

  • Internal and external clients
  • Investment managers
  • Fund administrators
  • Legal parties.

You'll be pivotal in the execution of the projects and will be required to ensure that costs are kept to a minimum; therefore you'll need to be articulate in communicating and be a precise individual as there is no margin for error.

You'll also be required to develop a deeper understanding of the bigger picture, and actively look to increase your knowledge to understand different investment vehicles, elements of costing and the best methods for maintaining market exposure.

The ideal candidate will be looking for a career within financial services and investment management. You'll have ideally achieved a 2:1 in your undergraduate degree and will be a focused individual that can display the right aptitude and attitude. You'll be able to prioritise workloads and have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to maintain relationships internally and externally.

You'll ideally have gained an IMC qualification, or at least studying towards the qualification. You'll have future plans to study towards Securities Institute qualifications or CFA, as my client fully supports studying and grants study leave to those that work towards qualifications. Exposure to financial institutions is also advantageous.
