Finance Manager - Regulatory Reporting - 12 month Fixed Term Contract £60,000-£65,000 + Benefits London - Hybrid Working

I am working with a great organisation who are a rapidly growing UK-based financial institution. Committed to innovation and transparency, they're currently seeking a talented Finance Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with UK regulatory requirements. As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for managing and executing regulatory reporting obligations in line with UK regulatory standards. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you'll gather, analyse, and report financial data accurately and efficiently to regulatory authorities. This role presents an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of regulatory compliance within the UK banking sector and contribute to their continued success.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely reporting of regulatory returns.
  • Develop awareness of Basel III, Capital Requirement Directive IV and Capital Requirement Regulation.
  • Liaison with Treasury Control & Services Group and accounts back office team on a day to day basis in relation to accounting and reporting requirements.
  • Work on adhoc projects, and internal MI requirement from business, risk, compliance.
  • Ensure that all documentation is completed on time including Process Approval Committee (PAC) notes, and inputs to Treasury Policy Manual & Mandate
  • Good understanding of Regulatory reporting guidelines and updating the management on any changes in regulatory reporting
  • Responsible for relationships with external Auditors and Internal Auditors and working with them to resolve audit queries and meeting audit data requirements.
  • Leading regulatory reporting automation projects
  • To maintain Bank's relationship with vendors for regulatory reporting

Skills Required:
  • Must be a Fully Qualified Accountant
  • Good understanding of the financial statements (month end Trial balance)
  • Ability to read and interpret regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Ability to understand regulatory reporting software
  • Strong excel skills
  • Good understanding of financial and credit markets
  • Understanding of fixed income analysis
  • Good understanding of project management
