THE COMPANY
They are a leading private equity and alternatives investment client services firm operating in the UK and Europe. They have grown significantly in the last few years operating efficiently, effectively and seek to maximise returns and service for their clients. They are a highly ambitious company with strong strategic expansion plans. Their environment is collegiate and their people are important to them. They now have a newly created role which monitors client relationships as well as works with the business development team and supports marketing, strategy and new opportunities..

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Qualified in either Accounting or Administration reflecting their time within Financial Services with specific experience in fund and corporate administration.

  • Has an outgoing personality and be a people person. (However, not the typical sales persona you would normally need in traditional business development roles).

  • Someone who can build bridges within existing client teams, can quickly gain awareness on how the business operates.

  • Comfortable hosting clients or guests having only met a couple of times

  • 5 years+ in some form of Relationship Management related role where there is significant client contact

  • Excellent presentation skills and communication skills

  • Experience of managing relationships and understanding when escalations are needed.

  • Highly technical and analytical, capable of understanding the complexities of a financial services environment

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills (Fluency in French & German languages an advantage but not a pre-requisite)

  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills; the ability to manage, maintain and build trusted, lasting and rewarding relationships

THE ROLE

  • Any questions or issues should be escalated promptly to designated individuals, or if in doubt, consult the relevant line manager.

  • Manage existing relations with clients identifying their needs and potential to cross sell other product services of the Company

  • Work with client relationship directors and teams to generate potential revenue opportunities across both current clients and new business where needed

  • Oversee and work with the communications team to produce high calibre sales and marketing collaterals

  • Work with director teams, and use own knowledge of the market and competitors, to identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators

  • Prepare and present business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress on strategy and status of pipeline of opportunities

  • Represent the Company's brand in developing current partnerships and where required establishing new client opportunities,

  • Represent the company in establishing and developing partnerships with new client opportunities

  • Work with client relationship directors and teams to generate potential revenue opportunities for business
