THE COMPANY They are a Real Estate Asset manager who are looking for a proactive and hardworking Financial Controller. They have just under £1b AUM and are on an exciting journey of growth and looking for a qualified accountant to grow with them.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED • Qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent - Essential
• 2 years’ experience within a Private Equity or real estate investment firm - Essential
• A good knowledge of accounting and reporting
• Excellent Excel skills - Essential
• German Speaking – Not Essential
• Must be comfortable working in a small team
THE ROLE This role will suit a proactive, ambitious, and go-getting accountant. You will be working directly with the founders and partners and directly impact and have a voice with the growth of the company. You will be pivotal in investor relations and have oversight on the Fund administration.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES • Oversight of external Fund administration
• Processing monthly and quarterly journals
• Responsible for the investor report
• Review of financial statements (prepared by an external provider)
• Preparing monthly management accounts and monthly analysis for review by the founders
• Liaise with auditors for the annual audit process for both fund entities and corporate entities
• Support and be involved with the implementation of processes, system and control improvements
• Prepare and submit the quarterly VAT returns and annual adjustment calculations
• Prepare and submit the PSA calculation
• Answer Adhoc investor queries
