About the Role
The Payments Manager will own and optimize the entire payments lifecycle, including daily funding operations, payment service provider (PSP) integrations, and transaction flows. This includes managing deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfers, as well as ensuring accurate reconciliation and resolving any operational or technical issues with PSPs. The manager will lead a team of funding associates, hire and train staff as needed, and act as the primary liaison with payment providers, finance, development, compliance, and legal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily funding processes and ensure timely, accurate transaction reconciliation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical payment issues, acting as first point of contact for escalations and liaising with PSPs and internal developers.
• Assist with onboarding new PSPs and maintaining current integrations, including technical testing and configuration.
• Analyse funding and transaction patterns, chargebacks, and performance metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, including product, engineering, and customer support, to streamline workflows and improve user experience.
• Take ownership of payment-related customer inquiries and ensure stakeholder training on PSP tools and standard operating procedures.

Ideal Profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in payment operations or PSP management, preferably in e-commerce, fintech, or trading environments.
• Expertise in PSP APIs, payment flows, fraud/chargeback prevention, and reconciliation/reporting dashboards.
• Hands-on experience with PSPs/cashier systems, and demonstrated ability in technical troubleshooting.
• Highly analytical, organized, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with digital wallets, prop trading and CFDs, crypto payments, global acquiring banks, and SQL-based data querying is advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal, project management, and communication skills, with proven ability to work collaboratively across teams.
