Senior Accountant (Investment Management)

Responsibilities:

 

                •              General Accounting & Bookkeeping:

                •              Perform general accounting and bookkeeping duties for Cyprus and other group companies, including capital market transactions, Opex, and payroll.

                •              Back-Office Functions:

                •              Reconcile and post daily trades.

                •              Conduct cash reconciliations.

                •              Interact with Middle-Office to report breaks and resolve discrepancies.

                •              Statutory Reporting:

                •              Prepare financial statements and compile audit files.

                •              Management Reporting:

                •              Generate NAVs and other financial reports for management.

                •              Tax Compliance:

                •              Coordinate with tax advisers on Income Tax and VAT matters.

                •              Financial Analysis:

                •              Provide financial analysis support for transactions and other projects.

 

Key Skills/Experience:

 

                •              Educational Background:

                •              Degree from a well-respected university.

                •              Professional Experience:

                •              Over 4 years of relevant experience, preferably with a Top 4 Audit & Accounting Firm or a top-tier Fiduciary/Corporate Services provider.

                •              Qualifications:

                •              Fully qualified ACCA/ACA or equivalent.

                •              Technical Skills:

                •              Strong IFRS knowledge.

                •              Experience in tax compliance (VAT/Income Tax).

                •              Back-office experience is advantageous but not essential.

                •              Proficient in reporting and controlling functions.

                •              Analytical Skills:

                •              Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

                •              Highly motivated to work in an investment firm environment.

                •              Software Knowledge:

                •              Familiarity with Navision or equivalent accounting systems is a plus but not required.

                •              Strong team spirit and collaborative mindse
