Trade Finance Officer £45000 - £55000 + bonus + benefits London - Hybrid Working Model
We are recruiting a Trade Finance Officer for an established International Bank based in the City of London. This role is ideal for a Trade Finance professional with experience in document checking, letters of credit, guarantees, and trade finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Document checking and advising on LCs and LC amendments.
Issue, review, and process letters of credit (LCs) and guarantees.
Manage payments under confirmed and unconfirmed LCs.
Reconcile LC cash collateral and suspense accounts.
Process bills for collection and provide payment advices to clients.
Handle client and correspondent bank queries.
Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
Support loan administration and LC discounting processes.
Authorise payments and LC refinances as required.
Skills and Experience:
Strong knowledge of letters of credit and UCP600 rules.
Experience with SWIFT and trade finance operations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Excel and MS Word.
