Fund Accountant

A leading private equity firm specializing in the European lower-middle market is seeking a Fund Accountant to join their Finance team in London. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth within a dynamic organization.

The Fund Accountant will be responsible for:

• Managing investor capital movements and cash flow
• Overseeing investment transactions
• Maintaining fund accounting records
• Preparing financial statements and investor reports
• Calculating fees and carried interest
• Ensuring tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Producing consolidated financial statements
• Supporting investor relations with data and performance metrics
• Liaising with external service providers
• Contributing to various financial projects

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Experience in private equity fund accounting
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and relevant accounting standards
• Excellent analytical and Excel skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Methodical approach with focus on consistency and audit trails
