Job Advertisement: Accounts Payable Manager Location: London (City) Rate: £250 - £275 per day
Overview This is a temporary assignment for 6 months. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team in London. Responsibilities
Manage the accounts payable team to ensure timely processing of invoices, credit card, and personal expenses.
Oversee payments generated by the Accounts Payable team, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Recommend and implement continuous improvements to existing systems and procedures.
Establish and maintain a strong internal control environment, working closely with Internal Audit to ensure best practices are followed.
Monitor and address any breakdowns in internal control procedures.
Regularly review and update accounts payable procedure notes.
Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications Must-have skills:
Proven experience managing an Accounts Payable function.
Highly motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
Strong team player with a flexible approach.
Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas).
Confident in SAP.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
Nice-to-have skills:
Experience with SAP S4/Hana.
Familiarity with processing and designing Purchase Order systems.
Day-to-Day
Lead and support the accounts payable team in their daily operations.
Ensure all invoices and expenses are processed efficiently and accurately.
Conduct regular reviews of workflows and implement improvements where necessary.
Collaborate with internal teams to maintain compliance and best practices.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of excellence.
