International Credit Analyst / Credit Officer – Central London (Hybrid 4 days in office) £45,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits
A well-respected London-based banking group with around 150 UK employees is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst / Credit Officer to join their dynamic team. This key role offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive, close-knit environment with a focus on high-quality credit analysis across corporate, commercial real estate, and financial institution sectors.
What you’ll do:
Conduct detailed financial and credit analysis of diverse credit proposals, providing sound recommendations
Maintain and monitor global credit limits of financial insitritutions and global country risk exposures with robust reporting and data analysis
Prepare portfolio MIS reports / Credit data reports and watchlist account analysis to support strategic credit decisions
Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders in an agile, team-oriented setting
Ad hoc support relevant as required by the Head of International Credit
Who you are:
A graduate with 4+ years’ credit analysis experience within a financial institution preferably a bank
Highly numerate with strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial modeling and analysis
Ability to examine and evaluate cross border risk.
Skilled in MS Office, especially Excel, with confident use of spreadsheets and financial databases
Comfortable working under pressure, independently and within a small, high-performing team
Proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute to business growth and risk management strategies
