About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our Financial Planners in delivering a fully compliant, high-quality service to clients. This role offers a valuable opportunity to deepen your industry knowledge and gain experience in presenting financial research and recommendations to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analyses of client requirements, including the development of cash flow models and accurate data recording.
  • Financial Solutions: Design tailored financial planning strategies—covering investment, retirement, long-term care, tax, and inheritance tax (IHT) planning—supported by financial modelling and comprehensive reporting.
  • Recommendation Delivery: Prepare formal reports and recommendation letters, liaising with administrators as needed. Take ownership of client files and maintain accurate records within our back-office systems throughout the advice process.
  • Ongoing Reviews: Prepare and update regular client review documentation, including refreshed cash flow models and investment performance reports. Produce supporting materials such as discussion documents and financial models.
  • Client Engagement: Provide high-level service for clients' day-to-day needs through telephone, email, written correspondence, and in-person meetings. Actively participate in meetings, including presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Internal Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Financial Planning team to ensure all applications and provider documentation are prepared accurately and submitted in a timely manner. Maintain proactive client communication throughout the process.
  • External Collaboration: Work alongside other professional advisers—including solicitors and accountants—to execute agreed action plans and deliver cohesive financial solutions.
Requirements

  • Preferably Chartered Financial Planner status, or a strong commitment to working towards this designation.
  • Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, with a commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed on regulatory changes.
  • Ideally, at least four years of experience within the financial services industry.
  • Strong administrative, research, report writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organisational abilities, with a preference for structured, methodical working practices.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and maintaining required CPD standards.
