Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting
Assist in managing daily financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and budgeting.
Prepare accurate financial reports, statements, and forecasts to support decision-making.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Support the preparation and presentation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
Compliance & Controls
Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
Assist with internal audits and implement corrective measures as needed.
Maintain a strong internal control environment to safeguard financial resources.
Collaboration & Team Support
Work closely with the Head of Finance to execute financial strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for various projects.
Mentor and support junior finance staff to foster professional growth and a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualification (part or fully qualified).
Proven experience in financial management or accountancy roles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Preferred:
Experience working directly under a Head of Finance or in a similar senior role.
Familiarity with financial standards and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
