Role: Financial Accountant

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 plus paid overtime & a great benefits package

Location: Exeter - Hybrid working - 2 days in the office

They are a company with global presence going from strength to strength, you will be reporting into the director and would suit someone with an industry experience in accounting or someone coming out of an accountancy practice having recently qualified.  

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts and accompanying schedules as applicable, in accordance with documented business policies and procedures and within the required timeframe
• Prepare annual financial statements together with related information
• Prepare capital call and distribution calculations and notices
• Prepare investor Capital Account Statements and relevant calculations
• Take the lead with allocated clients and auditors, communicating with the funds investment manager and dealing with all queries, escalating as appropriate
• Effective implementation of on-boarding new clients/investors and fund changes

Skills Required

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Knowledge of partnership accounting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrably methodical and highly organised with a proven ability to meet deadlines Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
