The Role

- Project Management of GDPR implementation

- Responsible for advising senior stakeholders on GDPR challenges and implementation issues

- Prepare and execute a business plan for implementation

- Ensure adherance to Data Protection Act across divisions

- Implement an internal monitoring plan

- Maintenance of Bank's Data Retention Policy

- Deputise for the Data Protection Officer where required

- Ensure compliance to GDPR with 3rd party contracts

- Potential to become the Data Protection Officer in the short to mid term

Key Skills and Attributes

- Excellent understanding of GDPR

- Strong verbal and written skills

- Understanding and experience of Financial Services sector

- Excellent MS Office skills

- Ability to communicate effectively across levels of seniority

- Experience of Project Management

- Prince 2 qualification or equivalent preferred

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to prioritise and multi-task
