Client

A leading FinTech firm which has it's European Headquarters in Dublin. At the cutting edge of technology my client is a market maker and trading business with clients in multiple - jurisdictions. A very flat structure the business is highly entrepreneurial with a collegiate atmosphere which focuses on delivery.

The Role

- A Dublin based position that requires occasional travel

- Part of a Compliance team responsible for managing adherence to the EMEA regulatory environment for the firm

- Managing adherence to MiFID 2 regulation

- Responsible for Central Bank of Ireland regulatory reporting

- Regular updates to senior stakeholders

- Ensuring adherence of regulations by employees

- Implementation and execution of the annual compliance report

- Interpretation and implementation of upcoming regulations

- Responsibility on regulatory matters with MTF's and exchanges

Key Skills and Attributes

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong Microsoft Office Suite Skills

- Strong knowledge of Financial Services within Europe and particularly Ireland

- Pro-active approach.

- Comfortable presenting to stakeholders across levels of seniority

- Comfortable working within a flat structure which has little regard for titles

- Very strong regulatory knowledge

- Professional Compliance and / or Financial Services Qualification preferred

- Strong technical skills
