My client is a leading global financial services provider with over 30,000 employees worldwide based in Canary Wharf. They are rapidly growing their assets under management to become one of the biggest and well known brands! Currently, they are seeking a bright and motivated individual with good knowledge of KYC/AML, EMIR and Dodd Frank to join their team as a Client On-Boarding Analyst.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

  • To answer client and consultant queries accurately and in a timely manner managing expectations actively as appropriate.
  • To facilitate as appropriate due diligence questionnaires in a timely and accurate manner.
  • To facilitate the on-boarding of clients in conjunction with the New Business Analyst and Implementation Coordinator.
  • To ensure each new change event is fully implemented across the various platforms to ensure a smooth transition into the Client Service department.
  • To attend client and RM Meetings as appropriate.
  • To help support the RM team on the completion of documentation relevant to your client allocation.
  • To manage risk actively in the department .
  • To lease with the Client relationship Management team on all issues or client requests as appropriate .
  • To understand the systems and information downloaded from them in order to ensure accuracy and consistency of data.
  • To ensure detailed and timely updates are given in respect of onboarding requests and any pertinent delays.
  • To work on ad hoc projects as and when required.
  • To ensure metrics are kept up to date and accurate.
  • Maintain a Best practice approach.

Requirements:

  • Strong EMIR and or Dodd Frank knowledge
  • A good understanding of KYC/AML requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and customer service skills.
  • Strong project/process management (i.e. remediation), and organizational skills
  • Strong customer service skills .
  • A good understanding of the onboarding function.
  • High comfort level with large volumes of data.
  • Very strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with financial markets.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship skills, that include the ability to build productive working relationships across teams and functions; and the ability to foster an environment of open communication; Ability to work collaboratively with other business units.
  • Experience with advanced Excel functions and relational databases preferred.
