My client is the Uk branch of a leading international financial institution which is involved in emerging and developing markets.
You will be working closely with the financial control team and report directly to the Financial Controller. The role includes reconciling bank accounts, processing purchase invoices for payment, making payments to suppliers, updating accounting records and reconciling bank accounts.
Specific functions are:
Prepare daily and monthly management accounts and MIS for review by the Financial Controller and circulation to management.
These reports would include:
Daily Balance Sheet
Daily Profit and Loss
Daily Foreign Currency Position Report Summary
Daily Capital Adequacy Report and Large exposure report
Daily Liquidity Report (FSA047, FSA048 and LCR)
Daily Revaluation Report
Prepare suppliers invoices for payment, checking they are properly authorised, supporting documentation is attached where necessary, and they are properly account coded.
To post the Payroll related entries to the correct ledgers
Monitoring prepayments and accruals
Balance sheet reconciliations
Daily Nostro reconciliations
Petty cash reconciliations
