Corporation Tax Manager

£55,000-£75,000 + Benefits

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of corporation tax compliance for clients, including preparation and review of tax computations, returns, and filings.
  • Provide expert tax advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of corporation tax matters, including tax planning, restructuring, and compliance issues.
  • Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation, regulations, and case law, and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and addressing client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with business development initiatives, including preparing proposals, attending client meetings, and participating in networking events.
  • Mentor and coach junior staff members, providing guidance, support, and training as needed to ensure their professional development and growth.
  • Contribute to the overall success and growth of the tax department and the firm through active participation in team meetings, training sessions, and strategic planning activities.

Requirements:

  • Be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or (ATT/CTA)
  • Strong technical knowledge of corporation tax legislation, regulations, and principles, with the ability to apply them to practical situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to clients and colleagues.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering high-quality service, and meeting client expectations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong team management skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop junior staff members.
