Company Overview:
I am representing a fantastic private equity firm based in the heart of the UK's financial hub. As they continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Senior Management Accountant to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing our financial operations and fund administrators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for our portfolio companies and investment funds, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, performance metrics, and investment valuations, to support strategic decision-making by senior management and investors.
- Collaborate with fund administrators to ensure accurate and timely proficiency's with regards to the services they are providing
- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies, ensuring timely completion of audits and compliance with regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., FCA reporting)
- Assist in the development of budgets, forecasts, and cash flows
- Implement and enhance financial controls, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Be a fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or fund administration within the Financial Services/Investment industry
- Strong Understanding of the Audit process
- Experience managing relationships with fund administrators and external service providers, with a focus on operational excellence and client service.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, investors, and external stakeholders.
